Q: What is Alice in the Village?

A: Alice in the Village is a whimsical  Alice in Wonderland themed retail and Tea shop with a take-out counter.

Q: Are you a restaurant?

A: No, we are not a restaurant and do not offer table service only take-out from our "Drink ME" counter.

​

Q: What can I order from the counter?

A: We offer a large selection of tea drinks like bubble tea, butterfly pea tea, chai, matcha and more. We also offer a huge selection  of Macarons and Scones.

Q: Do you offer afternoon tea or high tea?

A: No. We discontinued our Afternoon Tea Service and we only offer take-out options from our counter.

Q: Are you offering mini sandwiches?

A: No, as of June 1, 2023, we do not offer mini sandwiches.

​

Q: Do you provide entertainment or character meet and greets?

A: While our shop is very interactive and whimsical, we do not offer any characters meeting or any entertainment / shows. 

​

Q: Do you have seating?

A: Yes. We have very limited indoor seating (first come first serve) and a lot more outdoor seating.

Q: Do we need reservations?

A: No. As we do not offer any table service there is no need for reservations.

Q: Do you offer Gluten Free items?

A: Yes. Our macarons are certified GF as well as our teas. We also offer GF scones (unless we are sold out).

​

Q: Do you offer party option or large group options?

A: No. We currently do not offer any party options.

​

Q: What do you sell in your retail section?

A: We have a huge variety of items and products like teas, teacups, teapots, books, jewelry, gifts, accessories and a lot more.

Q: Do you offer online shopping?

A: Right now we do not offer online shopping.

​

Q: What are the best days to visit?

A: Weekdays are less busy than weekends. 

 

Q: What are your hours?

A: Check our location / hours page as our hours change based on the season.

Q: Do you allow pets?

A: No. Pets are not allowed as we are a food establishment and as per the Dept of Health regulations, pets are not allowed in the store (excluding service animals).

Q: Can I just stop by and look around?

A: Absolutely.

​

Q: Do you have other locations?

A: No, we have one location in Mystic CT but we are working on opening more locations in the near future.

​

Q: Do you offer franchise option?

A: No, we currently do not offer franchise option.

Q: Who own Alice in the Village?

A: Alice in the Village is owned by "Wonderlosity" an immersive retail company specializing in experience shopping.

Q: Would you consider a donation to a charity?

A: We love helping our local community and we budget a certain amount every year we gladly donate.

Please send us an email with your request and we’ll do our best to help your charity.

*please note that due to overwhelming requests we receive, we currently donate to local communities that are 15 miles from Mystic CT.
